NFL: Texans vs. Ravens Predictions Against the Spread 11/27/17

Ravens vs Texans

Will the Houston Texans cover the point spread tonight when they visit the Baltimore Ravens at 8:30 p.m. ET?

The Odds: Texans at Ravens, 8:30 p.m. ET, Monday

According to oddsmakers, the Ravens are now 7.5-point home favorites to beat the Texans. Baltimore opened as a 7-point favorite before the number climbed a half-point. The total, meanwhile, sits at 39.5 points after opening at 38.

Houston enters play with a 4-6 record and is 1-3 on the road this year. Baltimore is 5-5 on the season and 2-2 at home. From a betting standpoint, the Texans have covered the spread in six of their 10 games and are 3-1 ATS on the road. Baltimore is 5-4-1 at the betting window and 2-2 ATS at home.

Houston Texans Injury Report

The Texans will once again be without Deshaun Watson, J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus, who are all out for the year. Will Fuller will also miss tonight’s game with a ribs injury and center Greg Mancz is out with a knee injury.

That said, cornerback Kevin Johnson is probable after being in the concussion protocol.

Baltimore Ravens Injury Report

The Ravens have several players probable for tonight’s game, including tackles Austin Howard (knee) and Ronnie Stanley (concussion). Running back Terrance West (calf) is also probable, as is linebacker C.J. Mosley (ankle).

Our Prediction

Tom Savage is coming off his best game last week in a win over the Cardinals. Jadeveon Clowney is also playing great for Houston, which spells trouble for a struggling Joe Flacco. Laying a full touchdown on a Ravens team that has had issues offensively doesn’t make much sense. Despite Houston’s issues without Watson, the Texans are confident coming off last week’s win. Plus, I have a gut feeling that after favorites have been crushing Vegas recently, the worm is about to turn.

NFL Week 12 Monday Night Football Prediction: Houston Texans +7.5
