College Football: Toledo vs. Ohio Predictions Against the Spread 11/8/17

Toledo vs Ohio

Will Ohio pull off the upset tonight in MAC play when the Bobcats host Toledo at 7:00 p.m. ET?

The Matchup: Toledo at Ohio, 7:00 p.m. ET

According to oddsmakers, the Rockets opened as a 6.5-point road favorite but the line was bet down to 3. As for the total, the number hit the board at 64 but dropped to 62.

Toledo Rockets Injury Report

Receiver Cody Thompson is out for the year with a leg injury, as our linemen Yazeed Atairwa (undisclosed) and Tuzar Skipper (undisclosed). On than those injuries, Toledo enters play relatively healthy. Thompson, however, is a key injury.

Ohio Bobcats

The Bobcats don’t have a Thompson-type player out by kicker Michael Farkas is questionable with a foot injury while Durrell Wood is out with a back injury. Sam McKnight (knee), Keevon Harris (ankle) and Jared McCray (head) are also out for tonight.

Our Prediction

I’ll take a quality MAC team like Ohio as a home underdog getting points midweek. The Bobcats are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games overall and are also 6-1 SU over that same span. They’ve also been solid at home, covering in five of their last six games in Ohio and 4-1 straight up over the last five home games.

Granted, the Bobcats have struggled against the Rockets (1-7 SU over last eight games when playing Toledo), but Ohio has the offense to match its conference foes.

Wednesday College Football Prediction: Ohio Bobcats +3
