Maeda won his sixth game of the season in his last start, a 4-0 win over the Angels. He held Los Angeles to four hits while pitching seven strong innings. The 29-year-old veteran stuck out six and walked none. Maeda is 6-3 on the year and owns a 4.15 ERA with a 1.13 WHIP.
Chacin, meanwhile, is coming off a tough-luck loss against the Braves at home in his last outing. He went seven innings, allowing just two runs on seven hits but received zero run support in a 3-0 loss. Chacin is now 6-7 on the season and owns a 4.76 ERA with a 1.32 WHIP.
