According to oddsmakers, the Seminoles are 11.5-point favorites to win today at home. The Wolfpack opened as 11.5-point underdogs but the line jumped to 13 at one point this week. The total, meanwhile, sits at 50 points. The over/under hit the board at 53.

The Wolfpack are an impressive 20-4 against the spread in their last 24 games following a bye week. They’re also 4-1 at the betting window in their last five true road games and have covered in eight of their last 11 games coming off a win of more than 20 points. That said, they’re just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games played in the month of September.
Florida State Betting Trends
The Seminoles have covered in four of their last five home games and are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall. They’re also a perfect 6-0 against the number in their last six games when coming off a failed cover in their previous contest. They’re 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game as well.
Our Prediction
The last time we saw the Seminoles, they were getting it handed it to them by Alabama. Quarterback Deondre Francois also suffered a season-ending injury in that loss, then FSU went on a two-week hiatus due to Hurricane Irma.
Now freshman signal-caller James Blackman steps in and we don’t know how he’ll handle running Jimbo Fisher’s offense. Until we have a better grasp on Blackman’s ability, fading FSU in a conference tilt makes sense. Plus, the Wolfpack held a fourth-quarter lead over the Seminoles at home last season before falling 24-20. I like N.C. State in a revenge spot.
