According to the latest oddsmakers, Alabama remains the clear favorite to win the conference this season, as the Crimson Tide have odds of -150 to win. Other short odds to win are Auburn (+450), LSU (+500) and Georgia (+600).
ALABAMA
Alabama comes into the start of the season ranked No. 1 in the Coaches Poll. The Tide are coming off a 14-1 records in 2016 with an 8-0 mark in the SEC and another conference title. Alabama has won the SEC title 26 times in program history and the Tide are the three-time defending conference champs.
AUBURN
Auburn starts the season ranked No. 13 in the preseason poll. The Tigers were 8-5 last season and 5-3 in the SEC in 2016. Auburn has won eight SEC Championships in program history. Their last title came in 2013.
LSU
LSU is No. 12 in the Coaches Poll entering the season. The Tigers were 8-4 last season and 5-3 in the SEC. LSU has won a total of 11 SEC Championships in its history. The last conference title came in 2011.
GEORGIA
Georgia starts the season ranked No. 15. The Bulldogs went 8-5 last season while posting a 4-4 record in the SEC. Georgia has won the SEC Championship 12 times in its history. The Bulldogs last won the SEC in 2005.
