College Football Championship Betting Odds: Alabama Favored 4/13/17

With months yet before the start of the season, Alabama has the best betting odds and is thus favored to win the College Football Championship in 2018.

According to oddsmakers, the Crimson Tide have 15/4 odds to win next year’s college football championship. Ohio State has the next-best odds to win at 11/2, followed by Florida State at 15/2. USC, which will be a chic pick to win it all next season, also has odds of 15/2.

Continuing college football championship odds, Oklahoma is 10/1 while Michigan and Penn State are both 15/1, respectively. The defending champion Clemson Tigers are 20/1 now that quarterback DeShaun Watson is headed for the NFL, while LSU and Louisville are both 20/1, respectively, as well. Georgia is 22/1.

Some of the mid-range long shots that can still be considered contenders are is Auburn and Texas at 25/1, and Washington at 35/1. Notre Dame is also 45/1, while Florida, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin are all 50/1. Tennessee and UCLA are 60/1, while Kansas State and West Virginia are 65/1, respectively.

The deeper long shots include Miami, Oregon, Stanford and TCU at 85/1, as well as Nebraska at 100/1. Boise State, Colorado, Michigan State and Texas A&M are all 110/1, while NC State is 125/1 to win next season’s college football national championship. Utah is 200/1, while Georgia Tech is 225/1.
