NHL Predictions: Will the Lightning get past the Bruins? 11/29/17

NHL Predictions

Will the Tampa Bay Lightning pick up another road win tonight when the Bolts go on the road to face the Boston Bruins tonight at 7:30PM ET? Here’s our NHL Predictions for tonight’s game.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, this game is considered even, as both the Lightning and the Bruins are listed with -110 odds to win. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 6 goals. Tonight’s game takes place from TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and will air live on NBCSN.

Tampa Bay is coming off a 2-0 win at Buffalo last night to snap a three-game losing streak. The Lightning have lost three of their last five games overall. Tampa is now 17-5-2 overall and 8-3-1 on the road. The Lightning are putting up 3.63 goals per game this season while allowing just 2.54 per game. Steven Stamkos is leading the team with 10 goals and 26 assists while Nikita Kucherov has 17 goals and 18 assists.

Boston is coming off a 4-2 loss at home to Edmonton on Sunday to snap a four-game winning streak. The Bruins are 10-8-4 overall and 6-4-2 at home. Boston is putting up 2.68 goals per game this season while allowing 2.95 per contest. The Bruins are dealing with a lot of injuries, with seven players listed in the injury report. Brad Marchand is questionable tonight with an upper body injury. He has eight goals and seven assists this season. David Pastrnak is adding 12 goals and eight assists.

Boston has won five of its last six meetings with Tampa Bay, but this is the first meeting this season. The Bruins have lost four straight meetings with Atlantic Division opponents and they are just 2-7 in their last 9 Eastern Conference opponents. Tampa Bay has won seven of its last nine road games and the Lightning are 8-3 in their last 11 on no rest. The public betting for today’s game is slightly with Tampa, and I agree with them.
