Eickhoff coming off loss for Phillies
Eickhoff allowed five runs on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings in a 5-3 loss to the Dodgers on Friday. He also struck out three and walked three. Eickoff told reporters after the game that he struggled with his release point on his curveball. The right-hander is now 0-2 with a 3.56 ERA and a 28:11 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 30 1/3 innings of work.
The Phillies are 1-4 in Eickhoff’s last five starts and are winless at 0-5 in his last five road outings. They’re also just 1-6 in Eickhoff’s last seven starts against divisional opponents and are 1-4 in their last five games overall.
