Will the Washington Redskins pull off the upset tonight when they visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football?
The Matchup: Redskins at Chiefs, 8:30 p.m. ET, Arrowhead Stadium
Kansas City remains the lone unbeaten team in the NFL after Atlanta fell yesterday to Buffalo. The Chiefs enter play tonight with a perfect 3-0 record. Washington, meanwhile, improved its record to 2-1 on the season by upsetting Oakland last Sunday night. The Redskins’ lone loss on the year was in Week 1 when they were upset at home by the Eagles.
According to oddsmakers, the Chiefs are 7-point home favorites in this matchup tonight. The Redskins opened as 8-point underdogs before the spread dropped. As for the total, the number hit the board at 49.5 and that’s where it currently sits.
Redskins Injury Report
Washington has several players that are considered questionable for tonight’s game. The key injury is tight end Jordan Reed, who was limited Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in practice due to rib and sternum injuries.
Meanwhile, receiver Jamison Crowder was also limited Friday and Saturday due to a hamstring problem. Linebackers Will Compton (ankle) and Mason Foster (shoulder) are questionable after getting in limited practice time as well. Safety D.J. Swearinger is dealing with a hamstring injury.
Finally, running back Rob Kelley continues to battle problems with his ribs and is questionable for tonight. The only player officially out for the Redskins is tackle Ty Nsekhe (core).
Chiefs Injury Report

The Chiefs also have two players listed as questionable. Tackle Eric Fisher did not practice Friday or Saturday due to a back injury, while linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis was limited due to a groin injury.
Outside of Eric Berry, who is out for the season, the Chiefs are relatively healthy.
Our Prediction
The Redskins have been a great bet to cover on the road. They’re 10-2 against the spread in their last 12 road games. They’re also 12-5 against the number in their last 17 games overall. Finally, Washington has covered the number in seven of its last eight games when playing a team with a winning record.
On the other side, the Chiefs are a surprising 4-9 at the betting window in their last 13 home games. They’re also 6-15 against the number in their last 21 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous game. They’re just 2-7 against the number in their last nine games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous contest.
