NFL Week 14 Predictions Against the Spread 12/10/17

Panthers vs. Saints

Looking for some advice on this Sunday’s slate? Here are my NFL Week 14 predictions.

Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers, 1:00 p.m. ET

This is Minnesota’s third straight road game but the Vikings have been unstoppable. They held a potent Falcons offense to nine points and 275 yards in Atlanta last week. Now they’re facing a struggling Cam Newton trying to make Carolina’s offense sing without a consistent running game. The Panthers will have issues moving the ball and there’s no reason to doubt Case Keenum at this point.

NFL Week 14 Predictions: Vikings -2.5

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants, 1:00 p.m. ET

It’s “Eli Manning Day” at MetLife Stadium, as the embattled veteran re-enters the starting lineup after a one-week hiatus. The Cowboys saved their season a week ago with a win over the Redskins on Thursday night. Dallas is more rested, more motivated, and with Sean Lee potentially back, healthier, too. They’re also 5-11-1 against the spread in their last 17 road games against the Giants and 1-5 ATS in their last six meetings overall with their division rivals.

NFL Week 14 Predictions: New York Giants +3.5

Tennessee Titans at Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m. ET

The Titans are frauds. Somehow they’re 8-4 despite being out-gained in a couple of their wins. They gave backers a nice front-door cover a week ago when they scored late against the Texans but that only inflated this week’s line. The Cardinals are still playing hard under Bruce Arians, as evidence in their win over the Jaguars two weeks ago. They also out-gained the Rams last Sunday despite losing. I like Arizona and the points, but could see the Cardinals winning outright.

NFL Week 14 Predictions: Cardinals +3

New York Jets at Denver Broncos, 4:05 p.m. ET

Honestly, I should probably just stay away but this is a principle play for me. The Broncos haven’t covered a point spread in seven straight weeks and continue to be a disaster on offense thanks to the quarterback position. Their defense is banged-up and gave up on the season months ago. The Jets, meanwhile, compete nearly every week. I hate that this game is in Denver and that New York isn’t getting points, but I’ll take the Jets (7-4 ATS on the year) anyway. The Broncos are terrible.

NFL Week 14 Predictions: Jets -1

Seattle Seahawks at Jacksonville Jaguars, 4:25 p.m. ET

The Seahawks are severely banged-up but continue to prove that as long as they have Russell Wilson, Bobby Wagner, Michael Bennett, Doug Baldwin and Earl Thomas, they’ll still win games. This is the month to back Seattle. In the Hawks’ last 27 games in December, they’re 20-6-1 against the spread. Jacksonville’s defense is nasty but it hasn’t faced Wilson.

My Prediction: Seahawks +2.5
