LA Rams
The Rams had their signature win of the season thus far two weeks ago beating Dallas 35-30. Prior to that they were involved in the highest scoring game in Thursday night football history a 41-39 win over the 49ers. Both games showed the offensive firepower that the Rams are capable of – but also exposed defensive inefficiencies. LA does have the 5th ranked offense in both total yards and passing yards while RB Todd Gurley is always capable of a big play on the ground. They’ll be tested in the NFL Predictions Rams Jaguars against a Jacksonville D however that is 3rd best in the NFL in both passing yards allowed and points scored against.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jags have looked dominant in wins over Houston (29-7) in the opener, Baltimore (44-7)in London, and at Pittsburgh (30-9) last week. They also flubbed up in an OT loss to the Jets and lost by 3TDs to the Titans. If Jacksonville can find some consistency they’ve got to be considered a legit playoff contender. Not only is the Jaguars D on fire, they boast the NFL’s #1 rushing attack powered by Leonard Fournette. Of note, LA gives up 133.6 YPG on the ground, 27th in the NFL.
