The over/under total for the contest has been set at 38.5 points. The Broncos have won six of the last seven meetings with the Bengals, but the road team has covered the spread in six of the last seven meetings. The public betting for this game has Denver getting 72 percent of the wagers at home. Today’s game takes place from Sports Authority Field in Denver, Colorado and will air live on CBS.

BRONCOS

Denver is coming off a 41-16 loss at home to the Patriots for their fifth straight loss. They are now 3-6 on the season and 2-6-1 against the spread. Denver has also failed to cover the spread in five straight. The Broncos are averaging just 18.4 points and 348.1 yards per game. Brock Osweiler has taken over at QB and has thrown for 447 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in his limited action. C.J. Anderson is the leading rusher for the team with 536 yards and one score while Demaryius Thomas has 48 catches for 569 yards and two scores. Defensively, Denver is allowing 26.6 points and 305.3 yards per contest. Von Miller is leading the defense with 32 tackles and eight sacks.

BENGALS

Cincinnati is coming off a 24-20 loss at Tennessee last week for its second straight loss. The Bengals are just 3-6 on the season 4-5 against the spread. Cincinnati is just 1-3 ATS in its last four games. Cincinnati is putting up just 16.6 points and 292.8 yards per game this season. Andy Dalton has thrown for 2,004 yards and 13 touchdowns with eight interceptions to lead the way while A.J. Green has 44 catches for 693 yards and five scores. Joe Mixon is the leading rusher with 321 yards and three scores, but the Bengals average just 3.1 yards per carry. Defensively, Cincy is giving up 20.2 points and 338.2 yards per game.

NFL PREDICTIONS

This game could be a struggle as neither team has been able to sustain much success on offense. It seems like the underdog has the edge in the series. Along with success on the road, the underdog is also strong against the spread in this series, going 7-1 in the last eight meetings. Cincinnati is also 5-2 ATS in its last 7 road games and 11-5 ATS in its last 16 against a losing team.
