NFL Predictions: Bucs vs. Falcons Predictions Against the Spread 11/26/17
Will the Tampa Bay Bucs cover as a double-digit underdog today when they visit the Atlanta Falcons? Kickoff for this NFC West matchup is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
The Odds: Bucs at Falcons, 1:00 p.m. ET, Atlanta
According to oddsmakers, Atlanta is now a 10-point home favorite. The Falcons opened as 8.5-point favorites but the line was bet up. The total, meanwhile, sits at 47 points, down from the original number of 49.
Tampa Bay is 4-6 on the year and 1-4 on the road. Atlanta is 6-4 straight up and 2-2 at home. From a bettering standpoint, the Bucs are 3-6-1 against the spread this season and 1-3 ATS on the road. The Falcons are 4-6 at the betting window and 2-2 ATS at home.
Tampa Bay Bucs Injury Report
The Bucs will once again be without their starting quarterback. Jameis Winston is reportedly getting close to returning but he’s out today with a shoulder injury. Cornerback Vernon Hargreaves is also out with a hamstring injury, while Robert Ayers will miss the game with a concussion.
That said, William Gholston (neck) is probable.
Atlanta Falcons Injury Report
Atlanta will once again be without running back Devonta Freeman, who is out with a concussion. Punter Matt Bosher will play despite suffering a groin injury in Monday night’s win over the Seahawks.
Our Prediction
The Falcons picked up a huge win against the Seahawks on Monday night but I don’t feel good about laying the points today. That was a tough, physical game against Seattle that could have repercussions for the Falcons today. I could see them getting off to a slow start and their defense wearing out quickly after playing earlier this week. Atlanta’s defense played a lot of snaps in the second half on Monday night.
The road team has covered in four of the last five games between these two teams. The Bucs are also 12-5 at the betting window in their last 17 games in Atlanta.
NFL Week 12 Prediction: Tampa Bay Bucs +10
