NBA Playoffs Prediction: Will the Raptors close out the Bucks? 4/27/17

NBA Playoffs

Can the Toronto Raptors close out the Milwaukee Bucks when the two meet in Game 6 of their NBA Playoffs series today at 7PM ET?

GAME 6 ODDS

According to oddsmakers, the Bucks are the slight favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Raptors. The over/under total for the NBA Playoffs game is listed at 195 points.

RECORDS

Toronto grabbed a 3-2 lead in the series with a 118-93 win in Game 5 on Monday night. The Raptors have now won and covered the spread in the last two games of the series. Toronto enters tonight’s game 54-33 overall, 24-19 on the road and 47-39-1 against the spread. Milwaukee is 44-43 overall, 24-19 at home and 39-48 against the spread.

GAME 5 RECAP

The Raptors didn’t give the Bucks much chance to get into Game 5, as they established a 31-20 lead after the first quarter and didn’t look back. Toronto shot the ball very well, going 41-of-71 from the field and 12-of-27 from 3-point land. The Raptors also had a 40-23 advantage on the boards and they tallied 28 assists.

Kyle Lowry led the way there with 10 to go with his 16 points. Norman Powell added 25 points on 8-of-11 shooting. The Bucks shot 50 percent from the field in the loss and 45 percent from the arc, but struggled at the stripe, going just 15-of-26. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 30 points and eight rebounds.

NBA PLAYOFFS PREDICTION

The last few games have shown the Raptors ability to win with offense and defense. Lowry is finally looking comfortable and back to his old self after coming back from his injury. If the Raptors can also get contributions from the likes of Powell, they really could be a threat in the East. I think Milwaukee has a nice team, but the weaknesses are really starting to show and the Greek Freak can only do so much.

NBA Playoffs Prediction: Toronto Raptors +1.5
