NBA Playoffs Prediction: Will the Celtics close out the Bulls? 4/28/17

NBA Prediction

Can the Boston Celtics win a fourth straight and finish the Chicago Bulls when they meet in Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs series tonight at 8PM ET?

GAME 6 ODDS

According to oddsmakers, Boston is the favorite on the road, as the Celtics are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the game is listed at 8PM ET.

RECORDS

The Celtics took their first lead in the series, 3-2, thanks to a 108-97 win in Game 5 on Wednesday night. The Celtics have won and covered the spread in three straight in this series. Boston is 56-31 overall, 25-18 on the road and 43-42-2 against the spread. Chicago is 43-44 overall, 25-18 at home and 44-43 against the spread.

GAME 5 RECAP

Game 5 was competitive before the Celtics pulled away late. Boston struggled shooting, going just 9-for-40 from the arc, but they made up for it by going 23-of-23 at the free-throw line. Isaiah Thomas had 24 points and four assists while Avery Bradley had 24 points and six rebounds.

The Bulls had another 16 turnovers in this game as Rajon Rondo missed his third straight game. Dwyane Wade scored 26 points and had 11 rebounds and eight assists in the loss. Jimmy Butler was held to just 14 points and eight rebounds.

NBA PLAYOFFS PREDICTION

Rondo is listed as out again for today’s Game 6, so I see the Celtics grabbing another win and cover. The Bulls are just not the same, efficient offense without him. Boston has managed to work out some of the kinks on offense. Despite shooting poor from the arc in Game 5, they will won by double figures. They should shoot better tonight.

NBA Playoffs Prediction: Boston Celtics -2.5
