MLB PREDICTIONS
Neither pitcher inspires much confidence today, but Mejia actually has some great road numbers. Over six road starts he has a 2-1 record with a 2.54 ERA and opponents are hitting just .222 against him. That should work out well against this Detroit team that looks like it gave up a long time ago. Zimmerman also won’t likely have success on the mound today, as he has been a mess all year. If the Twins are going to hang on to this Wild Card spot, they have to win these road games.
