Pineda, meanwhile, enters play tonight with a 7-3 record, a 3.71 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. After winning three consecutive decisions to close out May, Pineda is 1-1 in the month of June and owns a 5.00 ERA. In his last outing against this very Angels team, he allowed five runs on 10 hits over six innings of work. He struck out just two while allowing a home run, his third in his last three outings.
