PITCHING MATCHUP
The pitching matchup tonight has Zack Greinke (14-5, 3.01 ERA) on the mound for the Diamondbacks to face Jose Berrios (10-5, 4.27) of the Twins. Greinke had been struggling, but got back on track in a 6.2-innings, scoreless effort against the Astros last week. He has 174 strikeouts with 33 walks this season and a 1.03 WHIP. Berrios had been doing well, but is really struggling this season. He has allowed 11 runs over his last 8.1 innings. He has 88 strikeouts with 30 walks and a 1.20 WHIP.

Minnesota opened this series on Friday with a 10-3 win. It was their first meeting since 2014. The Twins are now 61-59 overall and 29-35 at home. Arizona is 67-55 overall and 28-32 on the road.
FRIDAY’S RECAP
The Twins racked up 17 hits in the Friday win. Zack Godley gave up four runs in 5.1 innings to fall to 5-6 on the season. The bullpen gave up six runs in 2.2 innings. Ervin Santana earned his 13th win of the year by allowing just three runs in six innings. Miguel Sano had a pair of home runs and drove in three runs to lead the Twins. He now has 28 home runs on the season. Brian Dozier also hit his 24th home run of the year. Jake Lamb and Paul Goldschmidt each drove in a run for Arizona. Goldschmidt now has 96 RBI while Lamb has 94.
MLB PREDICTIONS
Greinke seemed to get back on track in his last start and he can give Arizona a boost tonight on the mound. Berrios was once a stellar pitcher, but he has really struggled lately and is facing one of the league’s more powerful lineup. Minnesota was able to jump out quickly on Arizona on Friday, but I don’t see that happening again today. I think Arizona will get the quick start tonight and get the victory.
