THE ODDS
According to the latest oddsmakers, the Indians are the clear favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -240 to win, while the Twins are listed with a money line of +215 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 9.5 runs.
PITCHING MATCHUP
The pitching matchup today has Corey Kluber (6-2, 3.58 ERA) on the mound for Cleveland to face Kyle Gibson (4-5, 6.56) of the Twins.
Kluber is coming off a complete-game shutout of the Orioles earlier this week. He now has 80 strikeouts with 17 walks and a 1.09 WHIP. Gibson has struggled most of the season, allowing 44 earned runs over 60.1 innings of work. He has 43 strikeouts with 29 walks and a 1.84 WHIP.

The Twins opened the series on Friday with a 5-0 win. The road team has won five straight between these two and they have hit the under in three straight meetings.
Cleveland is 39-33 overall, 15-18 at home and 41-27 with the under. Minnesota 37-34 overall, 21-9 on the road and 35-31 with the under.
FRIDAY’S RECAP
The Twins got five scoreless innings from Adalberto Mejia to get him his second win of the season. The bullpen then pitched four scoreless innings to lock up the win. Trevor Bauer pitched 6.2 innings and allowed four earned runs. He took the loss to fall to 6-6 on the season. Brian Dozier had three hits and two RBI to lead the team while Jorge Polanco had two hits and two RBI.
MLB PREDICTION
The Indians weren’t able to do much at the plate on Friday and I think the tables will turn today. Kluber has been pitching like his old self lately and that should continue today against this Minnesota lineup. The Indians may be able to light up Gibson a little bit, but I don’t think they will do enough damage to hit the over on their own.
