Other short odds to prevail are Rickie Fowler (10/1), Hideki Matsuyama (16/1), Justin Rose (16/1), Jason Day (18/1) and Tiger Woods (20/1). The Farmers Insurance Open takes place Thursday-s Sunday from Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.
GOLF PREDICTIONS
JON RAHM
Jon Rahm is the defending champion of this tournament and making a run at the top ranking in the world. He has was two of his last three tournaments while finishing second in the other. While it is hard to maintain this pace on the PGA Tour, I will continue to ride Rahm while he is hot. He came through last weekend and now returns to a course where he has had great success.
JUSTIN ROSE
Justin Rose is another golfer we like this weekend. Now sixth in the world rankings, Rose has won three of his last seven tournaments and has placed in the top 10 in 10 of his last 11 events. Rose is on one of the best stretches of his career and I think it continues this weekend. He placed fourth in this tournament last year, so he has the ability to navigate Torrey Pines successfully.
BRANDT SNEDEKER
Brandt Snedeker has 40/1 odds to win this weekend I think he is a nice dark horse option. Snedeker has is a two-time winner of this tournament, last doing so in 2016. Snedeker could use a strong finish this weekend after having a poor end to the 2017 season. Even in a quiet 2017 season, Snedeker placed ninth in this tournament. I think he continues to play well at one of his best courses.
