Kansas is coming off a 79-68 win over Texas A&M this past weekend for its sixth win in seven games. The Jayhawks are 17-4 overall, 6-2 in the Big 12 and 11-9 against the spread. KU is averaging 83.8 points per game on offense this season while allowing 70.4 per contest on defense. Devonte’ Graham is leading KU this season with 17.3 points and 7.3 assists per game. Kansas State has won four straight coming into tonight’s contest following a 56-51 win over Georgia at home this weekend. The Wildcats are now 16-5 overall, 5-3 in the Big 12 and 8-10 against the spread. K-State is averaging 76.3 points per game on offense while allowing 66.6 per contest. Barry Brown has been leading Kansas State with 17.3 points per game while Dean Wade is adding 16.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL PREDICTIONS
Kansas has won six straight meetings with Kansas State, including a 73-72 win at home on Jan. 13. Kansas State is 2-0-1 against the spread in its last three encounters with the Jayhawks. The Wildcats have also covered in three straight games as an underdog, that includes a win at home over Oklahoma. If it wasn’t for a loss at Oklahoma last week, I would take Kansas State. However, I don’t see the Jayhawks losing two games so closely together. I think they go on the road and take care of business. They have covered in four of their last five on the road. The public betting backing Kansas as well.
