The over/under total for the contest has been set at 138.5 points. Tonight’s game takes place from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri and will air live on ESPN2.
BAYLOR
Baylor is off to a 3-0 start to the season, winning all three games by at least 17 points. However, none of the games were lined due to the level of the opponents. The Bears are scoring 85 points per game while allowing 57.7 per contest. Manu Lecomte is leading the team with 20.7 points per game right now while Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. is posting 12 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest.
WISCONSIN
Wisconsin is coming off an 80-70 loss to Xavier at home to fall to 2-1 on the season. The Badgers are also 1-1 against the spread. Wisconsin is putting up 81.3 points per game this season while allowing just 63.7 per contest. The Badgers are being led by Ethan Happ, who is averaging 17.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. These two last met in 2014 with Wisconsin winning by 17 as a 4-point favorite. The Badgers are coming off a loss at home to Xavier, but I think that game will be a learning experience for Wisconsin. Baylor has yet to face anyone to force them to break a sweat. I think today will be its first test and that can be hard for a team to deal with. Wisconsin is 10-2 against the spread in its last 12 against the Big 12 and 4-1-1 in its last 6 at a neutral site. The public betting is split for this game, but I am going to side with Wisconsin and its ability to grind out wins.
