Since a three-game losing streak, Arizona has now won eight straight. That includes an 84-78 win over Arizona State this past weekend for the Sun Devils’ first loss. The Wildcats are 11-3 overall, 1-0 in the Pac-12 and 5-7-2 against the spread. Zona is putting up 83.5 points per game on offense this year while giving up 71.5 per game. Allonzo Trier is putting up 21.3 points per game to lead Arizona while Deandre Ayton is adding 19.7 points and 11.9 rebounds per contest.
UTAH
Utah has won three straight coming into tonight’s game, including wins at Oregon and Oregon State. The Utes are now 10-3 overall, 2-0 in the Pac-12 and 7-4 against the spread. Utah is putting up 75.7 points per game on offense while giving up just 66.7 per game. The Utes are being led by David Collette, who is averaging 13.2 points and 5 rebounds per game. Tyler Rawson is adding 11 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL PREDICTIONS
Arizona has won nine of its last 10 meetings with Utah, going 4-1-1 against the spread in the last six encounters. Arizona has really turned a corner over the last month. The Wildcats have seen an improvement on both sides of the ball. They can win with offense and defense right now. Utah hasn’t shown the ability to put up big numbers on offense consistently and I think the Utes will struggle to slow down the Arizona offense and keep pace when it has the ball. The public betting is backing Arizona tonight and I think the Wildcats get it done as well.
