CFB: Missouri vs. Arkansas Predictions Against the Spread 11/24/17

Missouri vs Texas

Will the red-hot Missouri Tigers cover the point spread as a road favorite Friday afternoon versus the Arkansas Razorbacks?

The Odds: Missouri at Arkansas, 2:30 p.m. ET, Friday

According to oddsmakers, the Tigers are now 9-point road favorites versus the Razorbacks. There has been plenty of line movement in this game. Arkansas opened as a 13-point home underdog before the line dropped a full three points to 10. In the last 24 hours, the spread has dropped another full point down to 9.

Missouri enters play with a 6-5 record and a 2-2 mark on the road. As for Arkansas, the Razorbacks are just 4-7 on the year and 2-3 at home. From a betting standpoint, the Tigers are 7-4 against the spread (4-0 ATS on the road) while the Razorbacks are 3-7 at the betting window (1-3 ATS at home).

Missouri Tigers Injury Report

Running back Damarea Crockett is out for a shoulder injury. Outside of Crockett, however, the Tigers enter play this afternoon relatively healthy.

Arkansas Razorbacks Injury Report

The Razorbacks should have Hjalte Froholdt (foot) for today, as he’s probable. That said, Frank Ragnow (ankle) and Jared Cornelius (Achilles) is also out for the year.

Our Prediction

There is obvious sharp action on Arkansas given the how much the spread has dropped in the Razorbacks’ favor. But I don’t care.

Missouri is a perfect 7-0 against the spread in its last seven games overall. The Tigers are also 5-0 against the number in their last five conference games. They’re 4-0 at the betting window in their last four games playing on the road, as well.

As for Arkansas, the Razorbacks are just 1-6-1 against the spread in their last eight home games. They’re also 0-6 against the number in their last six games after covering in their previous game. They’re 2-8 at the betting window in their last 10 games when facing an opponent with a winning record.
