2018 Super Bowl Odds: Patriots Still Favored to Win After NFL Schedule Released

Colts vs Patriots

The NFL released its 2017 schedule and oddsmakers have released 2018 Super Bowl Odds. The bookmakers still see the New England Patriots as the favorite to win the Super Bowl next season.

2018 Super Bowl Odds

According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, New England remains a 4/1 favorite to win Super Bowl LII next season. Other short odds to win are the Dallas Cowboys (11/1), the Atlanta Falcons (12/1), the Green Bay Packers (12/1) and the Seattle Seahawks (12/1).

Patriots 2017 NFL Schedule

The Patriots will kickoff the 2017 season when they host the Kansas City Chiefs. They will start with three of their first four games at home and the early schedule looks relatively easy as they face the Saints in Week 2, the Panthers in Week 4 and the Jets in Week 6. Things pick up somewhat in Week 7 when they have a Super Bowl rematch with the Atlanta Falcons. New England will have some tough road trips to Denver, Oakland, Pittsburgh and Miami during the regular season. The Patriots have nine teams that won at least 9 games or more last season on the 2017 schedule.

Their opponent’s win percentage in 2016 was .527, which ranks 12th most difficult. Winning a division title and a Super Bowl put the Patriots in position to have another competitive schedule, but they should still be able to navigate the waters of the AFC East once again. The Patriots have won the division title for eight straight seasons and 13 of the last 14 years.
