2017 NFL Draft – Alabama Prop Odds

2017 NFL Draft

How many of Nick Saban’s players will be selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft? Here’s a look at some Alabama prop odds.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.ag have listed the over/under of 4.5 for the number of Alabama players selected in the first round this year. Below is a list of Crimson Tide players that could be selected in the first 32 picks in the 2017 NFL Draft, which takes place next Thursday night.

Jonathan Allen

The talented defensive end could go as high as No. 3 to the Chicago Bears and is a slam dunk to be selected in the first 32 picks. The Jaguars at No. 4 are also a possibility for Allen, who shouldn’t slip out of the top 10.

O.J. Howard

There’s no shortage of teams selecting in the top 20 that could use a tight end as talented as Howard. He didn’t post eye-popping numbers in Alabama’s run-heavy offense, but he’s the type of pass-catching tight end that NFL teams love. The Cardinals are a possibility for Howard at No. 13.

Reuben Foster

Foster comes with some off-field concerns but there’s a great chance he’ll come off the board before the first round has concluded. The Saints or Redskins could nab him in the middle of the first round.

Cam Robinson

This year’s draft class isn’t deep at offensive tackle but Robinson is arguably the best of the bunch. Whether the Buccaneers snag him at No. 19 or the Broncos jump on him at No. 20, Robinson should hear his name called on Day 1.

Marlon Humphrey

While Saban’s cornerbacks haven’t had a ton of success at the professional level, NFL teams still love what his defensive backs bring to the table. Humphrey could sneak into the bottom of the first round, perhaps No. 29 to the Green Bay Packers or No. 30 to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While Humphrey or even Robinson could fall out of the first round, I would bet the over 4.5 when it came to how many Alabama players will hear their names called in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
